Latest Food Prices in Bali: Oil Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (20/8/2024) at 13.41 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), farmer-level corn, skipjack tuna, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as broiler chicken, simple packaged cooking oil, Indian mackerel, shallots, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp90 (1.62%) to Rp5,660 per kg. The Indian mackerel price decreased the most, by Rp800 (2.19%) to Rp35,740 per kg.
