North Sumatra Food Price Update Today: Corn Prices Up, Fish Prices Down (Wednesday, December 27, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in North Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday (27/12/2023) at 11:58 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are premium rice, pure beef, mackerel, farmer-level corn, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallot cloves, milkfish, fine iodized salt, red chilies, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp300 (4.85%), reaching Rp6,490 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna experienced the lowest price decrease of Rp3,270 (9.31%), reaching Rp31,870 per kg.
