Latest Food Prices in Bengkulu Region: Salt Up, Chilies Down (Saturday, January 13, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bengkulu today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (13/1/2024) at 09.27 WIB, out of 18 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, curly red chilies, mackerel, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, dry soybean seeds (import), bulk wheat flour, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp11,270 (29.1%) to Rp50,000 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili peppers saw the lowest price decrease of Rp4,110 (8.45%) to Rp44,550 per kg.

7. Garlic Bulbs: Rp35,070 per kg (down 2.8%)
8. Skipjack Tuna: Rp28,170 per kg (up 10.21%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp26,100 per kg (up 2.23%)
10. Consumption Sugar: Rp16,880 per kg (down 2.03%)
