Indonesia Food Prices Tuesday (15/10): Rice, Egg, and Sugar Prices Increase

Prices of several food commodities in Indonesia today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (15/10/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 14 commodities increased in price and 7 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include SHP rice, premium rice, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, and chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, bulk wheat flour, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp1,080 (2.92%) to Rp38,070 per kg. Meanwhile, milkfish prices decreased the most by Rp750 (2.26%) to Rp32,490 per kg.

7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp32,020 per kg (up 2.33%)
8. Red Chili (Keriting): Rp30,240 per kg (down 0.85%)
9. Red Onion: Rp28,990 per kg (up 0.35%)
10. Chicken Eggs: Rp28,860 per kg (up 1.02%)
