Medium-sized Garlic Prices in Traditional Markets for the Period February 2025-2026

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 2:44 PM WIB, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in North Sulawesi province has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp47 thousand.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in North Sulawesi over the last three months has seen a 14.39% decrease. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in North Sulawesi province is traded at Rp53.15 thousand.

The record increase in the daily price of medium-sized garlic in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in March 2019 with an increase of 31.82%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2019 with a decrease of -34.25%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods today in North Sulawesi recorded 13 commodities decreasing and 11 others increasing. Commodities with decreasing prices are Super I Quality Rice, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 2, Chicken Meat, Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat, Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, Red Chili, Local Granulated Sugar, Medium-sized Shallots, Shallots, Super II Quality Rice, Cooking Oil, and Rice.

5. Chicken Meat per Kg Rp38.9 thousand per kg (down 11.59%)
6. Beef per Kg Rp145.2 thousand per kg (unchanged)
7. Fresh Broiler Chicken Meat per Kg Rp38.9 thousand per kg (down 11.59%)
8. Grade 1 Beef per Kg Rp147.4 thousand per kg (unchanged)
9. Premium Quality Granulated Sugar per Kg Rp19.9 thousand per kg (up 1.27%)
10. Bird's Eye Chili per Kg Rp77.5 thousand per kg (up 24.8%)
11. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil Type 1 per Kg Rp19.85 thousand per kg (up 1.02%)
