Of the 17 sectors driving the economy in this regency, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries are the leading sectors.
The agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector contributed the largest share to the GRDP in 2023, reaching Rp2.34 trillion (Note: The original text uses "jutajuta" which is likely a typographical error and should be interpreted as trillion), with a growth of 4.6%.
Second is the wholesale and retail trade, repair of motor vehicles and motorcycles sector, which grew by 5.64% to Rp1.19 trillion (Note: Again, "jutajuta" likely a typo). The education services sector grew by 1.6% to Rp687.21 billion.
Finally, rounding out the top five GRDP contributors in Ende Regency is the public administration, defense, and compulsory social security sector, valued at Rp641.38 billion. According to BPS, this sector grew by 0.25% over the past year from the previous Rp616.59 billion.

The sectors with the smallest distribution are mining and quarrying; accommodation and food service activities; business services; electricity and gas supply; and water supply, waste management, waste and recycling.
