Jakarta's Current Food Prices: Rice and Onion Prices Fall

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 15.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged simple cooking oil, garlic cloves, red chilies, broiler chicken, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, premium rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Garlic cloves saw the highest price increase of Rp1,310 (3.23%) to Rp41,900 per kg. Mackerel experienced the largest price decrease of Rp2,200 (5.79%) to Rp35,780 per kg.
