Food Prices in Banten Sunday (28/9): Salt Price Rises, Red Chili Falls

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

According to data from the National Food Agency's (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (28/9/2025) at 10:26 AM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 8 commodities saw an increase and 17 commodities saw a decrease.

Commodities with increased prices include broiler eggs, frozen buffalo meat (imported), packaged wheat flour, bulk wheat flour, and consumption salt.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as garlic bulbs, shallots, medium rice, packaged cooking oil, and corn at the farmer level decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Consumption salt saw the highest increase of Rp1,042 (10.46%) to Rp11,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level experienced the deepest drop of Rp6,500 (100.0%) to Rp0 per kg.
