Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chili Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down (Sunday, January 21, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (21/1/2024) at 12.04 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 12 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk wheat flour, dry soybean (import), mackerel, bulk cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), medium rice, milkfish, and broiler chicken decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,590 (6.95%) to Rp39,850 per kg. Milkfish, on the other hand, saw the lowest price decrease of Rp800 (2.06%) to Rp37,960 per kg.
