The price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in Bengkulu Province has decreased by 9.79% over the past month.

The latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center panel shows that the daily price of curly red chilies in Bengkulu Province's traditional markets is recorded at Rp43,750. This price is down Rp3,500 compared to the previous day.

Regarding the price over the past month, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets has decreased from a previous record of Rp48,500.

Meanwhile, the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in Bengkulu over the past three months has increased by 78.57% from a previous record of Rp24,500.

The record high for the daily price of curly red chilies in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2023 with an increase of 40.91%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in September 2016 with a decrease of -35.1%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) today in Bengkulu show nine commodities decreased and 17 others increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Large Red Chilies (daily, traditional market, by province), Rawit Chilies (daily, traditional market, by province), Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2 (daily, traditional market, by province), Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 (daily, traditional market, by province), Red Chilies (daily, traditional market, by province), Cooking Oil (daily, traditional market, by province), Green Rawit Chilies (daily, traditional market, by province), Curly Red Chilies (daily, traditional market, by province), and Premium Quality Sugar (daily, traditional market, by province).
