Jambi Food Price Update Today: Soybean Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, December 23, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to be lower than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Saturday, December 23, 2023, at 08.44 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased in price and 10 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, Indian mackerel, chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, and dry soybeans (import).

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, premium rice, red chilies, chicken meat, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of imported dry soybeans saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp180 (1.36%) to Rp13,450 per kg. The price of red chili peppers saw the largest decrease, falling by Rp14,750 (23.38%) to Rp48,340 per kg.
