Current Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Oil Up, Salt Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (25/4/2024) at 17.31 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, kembung fish, bandeng fish, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, shallots, iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and simple packaged cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp250 (1.61%) to Rp15,740 per liter. Iodized fine salt had the lowest price decrease of Rp530 (4.32%) to Rp11,750 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in DKI Jakarta according to Bapanas as of April 25, 2024, at 17.31 WIB.

8. Tongkol Fish: Rp37,020 per kg (up 1.31%)
9. Kembung Fish: Rp35,800 per kg (up 1.02%)
10. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,600 per kg (down 2.16%)
