Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Sugar Up, Salt Down (Saturday, February 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (February 3, 2024) at 12:18 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include broiler chicken, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, simple packaged cooking oil, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as garlic cloves, red chilies, iodized fine salt, bulk wheat flour, and red chili peppers decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Granulated sugar saw the highest price increase of Rp270 (1.63%), reaching Rp16,810 per kg. Iodized fine salt had the lowest price decrease of Rp500 (4.33%), reaching Rp11,040 per kg.
