Latest Food Prices in South Sumatra Region: Chicken Price Up, Cooking Oil Price Down (Tuesday, January 16, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Tuesday (16/1/2024) at 10:21 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include milkfish, simple packaged cooking oil, mackerel, dry soybean (import), and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as pure beef, fine iodized salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), premium rice, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of skipjack tuna increased the most by Rp760 (2.79%) to Rp27,990 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil decreased the least by Rp310 (2.17%) to Rp13,970 per liter.
