Latest Banten Region Food Prices: What's the Price of Onions?

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (29/12/2024) at 12.21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 6 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, chicken eggs, red chilies, bulk cooking oil, and red cayenne pepper.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, skipjack tuna, premium rice, fine iodized salt, and livestock-grade corn decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red cayenne pepper prices surged the highest at Rp4,620 (6.86%) to Rp71,990 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most sharply by Rp3,390 (9.62%) to Rp31,860 per kg.
