Aceh Region's Current Food Prices: Oil Up, Onions Down

The prices of several food commodities in Aceh today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (28/7/2024) at 09.27 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk cooking oil, medium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk wheat flour, granulated sugar, red chilies, mackerel fish, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp950 (6.21%) to Rp16,240 per liter. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp6,540 (24.26%) to Rp20,420 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 19 food commodities in Aceh according to Bapanas on July 28, 2024, at 09.27 WIB.

5. Milkfish: Rp31,610 per kg (down 6.01%)
6. Broiler Chicken: Rp29,260 per kg (down 0.81%)
7. Red Onion: Rp26,670 per kg (down 3.86%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp25,420 per kg (up 0.2%)
9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp20,420 per kg (down 24.26%)
10. Simple Packaged Cooking Oil: Rp18,790 per liter (up 1.84%)
11. Granulated Sugar: Rp17,660 per kg (down 2.21%)
12. Bulk Cooking Oil: Rp16,240 per liter (up 6.21%)
13. Packaged Wheat Flour (non-bulk): Rp15,300 per kg (up 2.96%)
14. Premium Rice: Rp14,860 per kg (up 1.36%)
