Sumatera Selatan Food Prices on Monday (November 25th): What's the Price of Chicken?

The prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (25/11/2024) at 09.49 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include SPHP rice, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), premium rice, chicken eggs, granulated sugar, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most, up by Rp910 (3.7%) to Rp25,480 per kg. Meanwhile, red chili prices decreased the most sharply, down by Rp1,490 (4.24%) to Rp33,680 per kg.
