Current Food Prices in Central Java: Prices of Onions, Cooking Oil, and Rice Decrease

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (11/6/2024) at 10:25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include iodized fine salt, farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), red chili peppers, and broiler chicken.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, pure beef, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Iodized fine salt experienced the highest price increase, jumping by Rp670 (5.84%) to Rp12,150 per kg. Skipjack tuna saw the sharpest price drop, falling by Rp3,640 (11.82%) to Rp27,160 per kg.

9. Chicken Eggs: Rp27,300 per kg (down 0.76%)
