Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Sugar and Egg Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (22/10/2024) at 15.26 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, simple packaged cooking oil, red chili peppers, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as curly red chilies, garlic bulbs, broiler chicken meat, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and granulated sugar decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of Indian mackerel saw the highest increase, jumping by Rp3,140 (9.0%) to Rp38,010 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of garlic bulbs saw the steepest decrease, dropping by Rp2,180 (5.28%) to Rp39,120 per kg.
