Lampung Region's Current Food Prices: Oil Up, Chili Down

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (4/1/2025) at 12:19 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include granulated sugar, dry soybean (import), pure beef, curly red chilies, and medium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, chicken eggs, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and mackerel have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Bulk cooking oil experienced the highest price increase of Rp670 (4.0%) to Rp17,400 per liter. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most sharply by Rp420 (7.75%) to Rp5,000 per kg.
