Latest Banten Region Food Prices: Egg Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Friday (13/12/2024) at 13:59 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, simple packaged cooking oil, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, iodized fine salt, broiler chicken, medium rice, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase of Rp1,740 (4.84%) to Rp37,690 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of red chilies saw the sharpest decrease of Rp2,540 (7.11%) to Rp33,190 per kg.
