North Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Egg, Onion, and Chicken Prices Drop (Thursday, January 18, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in North Kalimantan today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Thursday (18/1/2024) at 14.53 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 3 commodities increased and 15 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price were bulk cooking oil, red chilies, and bulk wheat flour.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, Indian mackerel, broiler chicken, chicken eggs, and shallots decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp1,650 (2.33%) to Rp72,410 per kg. Shallots saw the lowest price decrease of Rp10,380 (19.87%) to Rp41,860 per kg.
