Bali Food Price Update Today: Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, February 3, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Saturday (February 3, 2024) at 09.25 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include cooking oil (curah), shallots, skipjack tuna, Indian mackerel, and iodized fine salt.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as granulated sugar, red chili peppers, dry soybean (import), simple packaged cooking oil, and (loose) wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp2,600 (11.0%) to Rp26,240 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of dry soybean (import) decreased the most, by Rp660 (4.94%) to Rp12,700 per kg.

9. Skipjack Tuna: Rp26,240 per kg (up 11.0%)
