Current Food Prices in Jakarta, DKI: How Much are Chilies?

The price of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Friday (9/8/2024) at 12:09 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 8 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, chicken eggs, garlic bulbs, mackerel, and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, iodized fine salt, red chilies, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel experienced the highest price increase of Rp900 (2.59%) to Rp35,600 per kg. Red chilies saw the sharpest price drop of Rp1,540 (3.0%) to Rp49,760 per kg.
