Lampung Food Price Update Today: Sugar, Onion, and Egg Prices Rise (Tuesday, December 5, 2023)

The prices of several food commodities in Lampung today have been observed to increase compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (December 5th, 2023) at 3:55 PM WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities saw price increases and 4 saw decreases.

Commodities that increased in price include chicken eggs, farmer-level corn, red chilies, medium-grain rice, and premium rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, broiler chicken, garlic bulbs, and skipjack tuna decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

The price of mackerel experienced the highest increase, jumping Rp5,130 (17.59%) to Rp34,290 per kg. The price of skipjack tuna saw the lowest decrease, dropping Rp600 (1.96%) to Rp30,040 per kg.
