West Kalimantan Food Price Update Today: Salt Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Saturday, January 20, 2024)

The price of several food commodities in West Kalimantan today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (20/1/2024) at 14:49 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are dry soybean (import), farmer-level corn, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), mackerel, and bulk cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, premium rice, red onions, broiler chicken, and red chilies have decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish prices surged the highest at Rp10,620 (45.82%) to Rp33,800 per kg. Meanwhile, skipjack tuna prices decreased the lowest at Rp1,260 (3.33%) to Rp36,630 per kg.
