Food Prices in South Sumatra Today: Salt Prices Rise, Red Chili Prices Fall

Prices of several food commodities in South Sumatra today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Tuesday (November 4, 2025) at 13:55 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities with increased prices include consumption sugar, milkfish, Minyakita cooking oil, packaged cooking oil, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as mackerel, garlic bulb, bulk cooking oil, curly red chili, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna prices rose the highest by Rp221 (0.77%) to Rp28,951 per kg. Meanwhile, curly red chili prices fell the sharpest by Rp863 (1.58%) to Rp53,778 per kg.
