Latest Food Prices in West Java: Chili and Rice Prices Increase

The prices of several food commodities in West Java today are observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (24/02/2025) at 15:54 WIB, out of 23 commodities, 18 commodities increased in price and 5 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include shallots, packaged wheat flour, broiler chicken meat, Minyakita, and packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as premium rice, SPHP rice, granulated sugar, table salt, and bulk wheat flour decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices increased the most by Rp7,169 (9.48%) to Rp82,825 per kg. The price of premium rice decreased the most by Rp37 (0.25%) to Rp14,781 per kg.

The following is a complete list of the prices of 23 food commodities in West Java according to Bapanas on February 24, 2025, at 15:54 WIB.
