Latest Food Prices in East Java: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down (Monday, February 26, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in East Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Monday (26/2/2024) at 08.14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 8 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include bulk cooking oil, pure beef, garlic bulbs, dry soybean (import), and skipjack tuna.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as shallots, Indian mackerel, bulk wheat flour, fine iodized salt, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Skipjack tuna experienced the highest price increase of Rp3,900 (12.86%) to Rp34,220 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of corn at the farmer level decreased the most, by Rp770 (9.39%) to Rp7,430 per kg.

6. Skipjack Tuna: Rp34,220 per kg (up 12.86%)
7. Milkfish: Rp31,460 per kg (down 4.93%)
8. Indian Mackerel: Rp30,950 per kg (down 5.78%)
9. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp28,740 per kg (up 0.98%)
10. Shallots: Rp26,420 per kg (down 0.53%)
11. Consumption Sugar: Rp16,490 per kg (down 0.72%)
