Today's Food Price Update in Banten: Chicken, Cooking Oil, and Chili Prices Rise (Thursday, February 8, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (8/2/2024) at 13:14 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include dry soybean (import), medium-grain rice, broiler chicken, red chilies, and shallots.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as corn (farmer level), premium rice, pure beef, granulated sugar, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Milkfish experienced the highest price increase of Rp820 (2.45%) to Rp34,320 per kg. Packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) had the lowest price decrease of Rp100 (0.8%) to Rp12,400 per kg.
