The price of medium-quality grade II rice in West Kalimantan Province's modern markets increased by 4.3% over the past month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in West Kalimantan's modern markets showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Compared to the price 30 days ago, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp15,100 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality II rice in West Kalimantan's modern markets over the past three months has increased by 0.96% from the previous price of Rp15,600 per kg.

The record high for the daily price of medium-quality II rice in the province's modern markets was recorded in April 2024, with a 10.45% increase, while the lowest decrease was recorded in November 2017, at -14.08%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic necessities (sembako) in West Kalimantan show ten commodities decreased and fifteen increased. The basic necessities with price decreases are: Chili Peppers, Cooking Oil, Beef, Grade 1 Beef, Branded Cooking Oil 2, Chicken Eggs, Low-Quality II Rice, Fresh Chicken Eggs, Red Chili Peppers, and Branded Cooking Oil 1.

The following are the prices of basic necessities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to price changes over the past month in West Kalimantan Province:

1. Large Red Chili Peppers per kg: Rp139,000 (up 24.11%)
2. Medium-Quality II Rice per kg: Rp15,750 (up 4.3%)
3. Curly Red Chili Peppers per kg: Rp169,000 (up 21.58%)
4. Medium-Sized Garlic per kg: Rp65,900 (up 10.02%)
5. Garlic per kg: Rp65,900 (up 10.02%)
6. Chili Peppers per kg: Rp147,000 (down 9.26%)
7. Super I Quality Rice per kg: Rp16,100 (up 4.55%)
8. Green Chili Peppers per kg: Rp125,000 (unchanged)
9. Fresh Chicken Meat per kg: Rp36,900 (up 2.79%)
10. Cooking Oil per kg: Rp24,500 (down 3.92%)
11. Medium-Quality I Rice per kg: Rp16,550 (up 9.6%)
12. Premium Quality Sugar per kg: Rp17,750 (up 1.43%)
13. Beef per kg: Rp142,000 (down 10.13%)
