Current Food Prices in Jambi: Prices of Beef, Onions, and Chilies Rise

The prices of several food commodities in Jambi today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Thursday (5/12/2024) at 09.15 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased and 10 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include pure beef, garlic bulbs, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and mackerel.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, SPHP rice, bulk wheat flour, and dry soybean (import) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp2,560 (7.93%), reaching Rp34,830 per kg. Shallots experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp1,080 (3.52%), reaching Rp29,600 per kg.
