Rice Prices in Traditional Markets for the Period February 2025-2026

Based on the latest information from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center (PIHPS) panel, the price of rice in traditional markets in West Sulawesi province is recorded at Rp13,150. This price decreased by Rp50 compared to the previous day.

Compared to the price in the last month, the development of rice prices in traditional markets has decreased from the previously recorded Rp13,750.

Meanwhile, the price of rice in traditional markets in West Sulawesi over the last three months has decreased by 4.01%. According to historical food price records from the PIHPS price panel, rice in traditional markets in West Sulawesi province was traded at Rp13,700.

The record increase in rice prices in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in October 2017 with an increase of 12.72%, and the lowest decrease was recorded in October 2017 with a decrease of -12.18%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, the price of nine staple foods (sembako) today in West Sulawesi shows that three commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The sembako with decreasing prices are Curly Red Chili, Large Red Chili, and Red Chili.
