In addition to the above projects, CBI also mentions six hydropower plants (PLTA) with the potential to be financed through green bonds. Three PLTA projects are under construction, while three others are still in the planning stage.

During the 2018-2021 period, the Indonesian government successfully raised US$4.33 billion from green bond issuances.

Funds raised from these bonds were not only used for energy projects but also for sustainable transportation, water management, and waste management projects.
