Banten's Daily Food Price List: Rice, Oil, and Chili Prices Drop (Monday, March 4, 2024)

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the national food agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Monday (4/3/2024) at 10:17 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are granulated sugar, bulk wheat flour, livestock-grade corn, broiler chicken meat, and broiler chicken eggs.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged (non-bulk) wheat flour, simple packaged cooking oil, garlic bulbs, red chilies, and dry soybeans (imported) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Livestock-grade corn experienced the highest price increase of Rp720 (8.54%), reaching Rp9,150 per kg. Milkfish had the lowest price decrease of Rp4,800 (14.08%), reaching Rp29,280 per kg.
