Banten Region's Latest Food Prices: Beef Prices Up, Chicken Prices Down

The price of several food commodities in Banten today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, at 12:21 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, pure beef, garlic bulbs, and livestock-grade corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as red chilies, simple packaged cooking oil, dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, and chicken eggs decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Livestock-grade corn experienced the highest price increase, jumping Rp1,650 (22.45%) to Rp9,000 per kg. Bulk wheat flour saw the largest price decrease, dropping Rp640 (6.06%) to Rp9,920 per kg.
