Latest Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Prices of Chicken, Sugar, and Beef Drop

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Sunday (8/9/2024) at 10:57 WIB, out of 19 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 13 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are mackerel, red chilies, skipjack tuna, red chilies, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as chicken eggs, pure beef, bulk cooking oil, milkfish, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp5,700 (12.06%) to Rp52,960 per kg. Bulk cooking oil experienced the sharpest price drop of Rp2,210 (13.21%) to Rp14,520 per liter.

6. Mackerel: Rp36,590 per kg (up 6.12%)
7. Skipjack Tuna: Rp36,150 per kg (up 2.18%)
8. Chicken Meat: Rp33,450 per kg (down 6.67%)
9. Red Onions: Rp27,590 per kg (down 12.19%)
