Latest Food Prices in Yogyakarta: Egg and Chili Prices Drop

The prices of several food commodities in Yogyakarta Special Region today are observed to be lower than yesterday's.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Sunday (30/6/2024) at 13.53 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 9 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are broiler chicken, bulk cooking oil, bulk wheat flour, skipjack tuna, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as medium rice, premium rice, garlic bulbs, chicken eggs, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chilies saw the highest price increase of Rp930 (3.25%) to Rp29,580 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of curly red chilies decreased the most, by Rp2,250 (7.11%) to Rp29,380 per kg.
