Banten Region Food Prices Tuesday (10/9): Onion Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Banten today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (10/9/2024) at 09.58 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 5 commodities increased and 16 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price are chicken eggs, SPHP rice, fine iodized salt, garlic cloves, and farmer-level corn.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as dry soybean (import), premium rice, skipjack tuna, bulk wheat flour, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Farmer-level corn prices surged the highest by Rp890 (10.97%) to Rp9,000 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of milkfish decreased the most sharply by Rp4,570 (13.96%) to Rp28,170 per kg.
