Bali Food Prices Thursday (5/12): Cooking Oil Prices Up, Salt Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Bali today are observed to be lower compared to yesterday.

Based on the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel data on Thursday (5/12/2024) at 09.05 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 7 commodities increased in price and 14 commodities decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, bulk cooking oil, red chilies, bulk wheat flour, and medium-grain rice.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as milkfish, shallots, dry soybean (import), skipjack tuna, and garlic cloves decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Mackerel prices surged the highest by Rp6,020 (16.53%) to Rp42,430 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of iodized fine salt decreased the most sharply by Rp2,080 (17.29%) to Rp9,950 per kg.
