Central Java Food Prices Wednesday (6/11): Onion Prices Up, Rice Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) price panel on Wednesday (6/11/2024) at 16.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 10 commodities increased in price and 8 decreased.

Commodities that increased in price include mackerel, shallot bulbs, red chilies, red onions, and simple packaged cooking oil.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), bulk wheat flour, milkfish, chicken eggs, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red onions saw the highest price increase, up by Rp1,230 (3.93%) to Rp32,550 per kg. Dry soybean (import) experienced the sharpest price drop, down Rp110 (1.15%) to Rp9,460 per kg.
