Latest Food Prices in Banten: Onions Up, Buffalo Meat Down

Prices of several food commodities in Banten today were observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Saturday (October 25, 2025) at 1:20 PM WIB, out of 25 commodities, 13 increased and 10 decreased.

Commodities with rising prices include dried soybean seeds (imported), medium rice, red cayenne pepper, premium rice, and consumption sugar.

Meanwhile, prices of several commodities such as pure beef, milkfish, red onions, fresh local buffalo meat, and bulk cooking oil decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Imported dried soybean seeds jumped the highest by Rp196 (1.71%) to Rp11,625 per kg. The price of fresh local buffalo meat fell the deepest by Rp5,750 (4.2%) to Rp131,250 per kg.
