Central Java Food Prices Today: Beef Prices Up, Chili Prices Down

The prices of several food commodities in Central Java today are observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (19/11/2024) at 16.28 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 12 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include garlic bulbs, SPHP rice, simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), and milkfish.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as mackerel, chicken eggs, shallots, granulated sugar, and premium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Pure beef prices increased the most by Rp640 (0.49%) to Rp130,380 per kg. Red chili prices decreased the most sharply by Rp600 (1.82%) to Rp32,450 per kg.
