Central Java Food Prices Tuesday (December 10th): Beef, Onion, and Rice Prices Drop

The price of several food commodities in Central Java today is observed to have decreased compared to yesterday.

Citing data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) food price panel on Tuesday (10/12/2024) at 16.33 WIB, out of 21 commodities, 9 commodities increased and 11 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include premium rice, fine iodized salt, shallots, chicken eggs, and red chilies.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as skipjack tuna, chicken meat, medium rice, mackerel, and packaged wheat flour (non-bulk) decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red chili prices surged the highest by Rp1,750 (5.96%) to Rp31,100 per kg. Meanwhile, the price of bulk cooking oil decreased the most by Rp320 (1.8%) to Rp17,420 per liter.
