Daily Price of Medium Quality II Rice in Traditional Markets, January 2024

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 4:44 PM WIB, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

However, over the past month, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in traditional markets has decreased from the previous record of Rp21,950.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in South Kalimantan over the past three months has fallen by 8.97%. According to historical food price records in the PIHPS price panel, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in South Kalimantan Province was traded at Rp22,850.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in traditional markets in this province was in December 2018, with an increase of 11.02%, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in December 2018, at -9.93%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in South Kalimantan show three commodities decreased and ten increased. The commodities with price decreases are red chilies, beef, and green chilies.
