The price of medium-quality II rice in modern markets in Central Java Province increased by 2.85% in the last month.

Based on the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 17:23 WIB, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Central Java Province showed no change compared to the previous day, mirroring the trend of the past week.

Compared to the price a month ago, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in modern markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp14,050 per kg.

Meanwhile, the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in modern markets in Central Java over the past three months has increased by 2.12% from the previously recorded price of Rp14,150 per kg.

The highest recorded increase in the daily price of medium-quality grade II rice in modern markets in this province was in April 2025, with an increase of 10.44%, while the lowest decrease was also recorded in April 2025, at -9.12%.

According to PIHPS monitoring, today's prices of nine basic commodities (sembako) in Central Java show ten commodities decreased and 19 increased. The basic commodities with decreased prices are: Chili Peppers, Chicken Meat, Super Grade II Rice, Curly Red Chili, Red Chili Peppers, Cooking Oil, Fresh Broiler Chicken, Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 2, Large Red Chili, and Red Chili.

The following are the prices of basic commodities monitored by PIHPS today, compared to the price changes over the past month in Central Java Province:

2. Low-Quality Grade II Rice per Kg: Rp13,550 per kg (up 4.63%)
3. Chicken Meat per Kg: Rp41,900 per kg (down 7.1%)
4. Super Grade II Rice per Kg: Rp15,700 per kg (down 9.51%)
5. Curly Red Chili per Kg: Rp79,900 per kg (down 4.25%)
6. Red Chili Peppers per Kg: Rp79,250 per kg (down 34.42%)
7. Cooking Oil per Kg: Rp21,000 per kg (down 1.18%)
8. Super Grade I Rice per Kg: Rp18,700 per kg (up 3.31%)
9. Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1 per Kg: Rp21,650 per kg (unchanged)
10. Granulated Sugar per Kg: Rp18,050 per kg (up 3.44%)
