Today's Food Prices in DKI Jakarta: Beef and Sugar Prices Rise

The prices of several food commodities in DKI Jakarta today are observed to have increased compared to yesterday.

Based on the food price panel data from the National Food Agency (Bapanas) on Monday (16/12/2024) at 11:38 WIB, out of 20 commodities, 11 commodities increased and 7 commodities decreased in price.

Commodities that increased in price include simple packaged cooking oil, packaged wheat flour (non-bulk), fine iodized salt, premium rice, and pure beef.

Meanwhile, the prices of several commodities such as bulk cooking oil, shallots, skipjack tuna, mackerel, and milkfish decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Layer chicken eggs saw the highest price increase of Rp1,410 (4.74%), reaching Rp31,170 per kg. Skipjack tuna experienced the largest price decrease of Rp1,410 (3.93%), reaching Rp34,510 per kg.
