State revenue realization from January to September 2017 reached Rp 1,099.27 trillion, or 63.3 percent of the 2017 Revised State Budget (APBN-P) target of Rp 1,738.06 trillion. However, this figure is higher than the realization during the same period the previous year, which reached only 60.6 percent of the 2016 APBN-P, amounting to Rp 1,082.64 trillion.
Meanwhile, government spending from January to September 2017 reached Rp 1,374.95 trillion, or 64.5 percent of the 2017 APBN-P target of Rp 2,133.3 trillion. This figure is also higher than the same period the previous year, which reached 62.7 percent of the 2016 APBN-P, amounting to Rp 1,306.02 trillion. As a result, the January-September 2017 budget deficit reached only Rp 276.68 trillion, or 2.03 percent of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP). This deficit is lower than the 2017 APBN-P target of 2.93 percent of GDP.
Tax revenue reached Rp 878.86 trillion, or 59.7 percent of the 2017 APBN-P target, and non-tax revenue amounted to Rp 217.93 trillion, or 83.7 percent of the target. Central government spending reached Rp 808.39 trillion, or 59.1 percent of the 2017 APBN-P target, while transfers to regions and village funds amounted to Rp 566.57 trillion, or 73.9 percent of the 2017 APBN-P target.
