Today's Food Prices in Jambi March 18: Bird's Eye Chili Up, Oil Down

Several food commodity prices in Jambi today were observed to be higher than yesterday.

Based on data from the Ministry of Trade's Basic Needs Market Monitoring System (SP2KP Kemendag) on Wednesday (March 18, 2026) at 13:26 WIB, of the 16 commodities, 9 increased and 4 decreased.

Commodities with price increases include broiler chicken meat, Honan garlic, imported soybeans, broiler chicken eggs, and red bird's eye chili.

Meanwhile, prices of some commodities such as bulk palm cooking oil, bulk granulated sugar, premium rice, and medium rice decreased compared to yesterday's prices.

Red bird's eye chili prices jumped the most by Rp3,611 (5.98%) to Rp64,037 per kg. Bulk palm cooking oil prices fell the sharpest by Rp258 (1.46%) to Rp17,421 per liter.

7. Shallots: Rp31,348 per kg (up 0.19%)
8. Broiler Chicken Eggs: Rp29,658 per kg (up 0.23%)
9. Premium Packaged Palm Cooking Oil: Rp20,000 per liter (unchanged)
