According to a Charta Politika survey, Ganjar Pranowo received 70% of respondent votes in Central Java and Yogyakarta, far surpassing other presidential candidates such as Anies Baswedan (8%) and Prabowo Subianto (10.5%).

Out of the 10 presidential candidates presented in the survey, Ganjar also received the most votes in East Java (33.7%), Bali and Nusa Tenggara (53.3%), and Maluku and Papua (38%).

However, Ganjar's vote share in West Java was relatively weak (13.8%), significantly losing to Defense Minister Prabowo Subianto (31.9%). In Sulawesi, Ganjar's position was even weaker (6.7%), lagging far behind Prabowo (35.6%).

Meanwhile, another strong contender, Anies Baswedan, dominated in Jakarta and Banten, Sumatra, and Kalimantan.

This survey was conducted by Charta Politika from December 6-18, 2022. A total of 1,220 respondents were surveyed across Indonesia's 34 provinces, with the criteria being at least 17 years old or eligible to vote in the general election.

The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews, using a multistage random sampling method and a margin of error of 2.82%.
